88 Fortunes:
Frogchildren Studios created innovative animated and live action commercials for the popular iPhone game 88 Fortunes. We began by researching the game and its audience, and then worked closely with the client to develop a concept and script.
One of the more fun aspects to the commercial was turning our young actor into a 3d animated character. We were inspired by 1980s animation which often featured kids jumping into their favorite books, movies and shows and becoming animated, Like Kid Video, Whomania and the Page Master.
Our team of animators, actors, and production crew worked to bring the concept to life using a combination of traditional hand-drawn animation, 3D modeling, and live action footage. The resulting commercials was a delight to fans of 88 Fortunes world wide.
